ServiceSourceis a reliable and trusted name that has been a part of the medical equipment fielding team since 1999. The organization’s first AbilityOne contract for military medical systems integration was the Medical MOLLE bag for the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Since 1999, ServiceSource has been the sole source provider for the MOLLE bag, producing more than 12,000 bags.
In 2005, ServiceSource produced the Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC) System for the USMC. The CASEVAC is used to evacuate up to eight wounded Marine casualties from point of injury to medical facilities at sea or shore.
Also in 2005, ServiceSource began production of the En Route Care System (ERCS) for the USMC. ServiceSource worked closely with the USMC in the development of the ERCS. Since then ServiceSource has used its purchasing power and contacts to buy the products and package the components into one complete system. The ERCS systems have been shipped to locations throughout the world for immediate deployment on the battlefield.
In 2007, the United States Marine Corps re-designed the MOLLE bag and updated the contents. The result is the Corpsman Assault Pack (CAP).
ServiceSource integrates and fields the medical products through the authority of the AbilityOne Program (formerly JWOD) and The Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled.
